Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, and Roshan Mathew are busy with the promotion of their upcoming espionage thriller, Ulajh. The release of the trailer last week has piqued everyone's curiosity about the plot. Janhvi Kapoor portrays an IFS officer, surrounded by individuals whose intentions are dubious and could endanger the nation. Janhvi gets mired in conspiracies, and there's no one she can trust to prove that she's not the culprit.

BollywoodLife spoke to Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew, who play pivotal roles in Sudhanshu Saria's Ulajh. We asked the actors about their experience working with Janhvi Kapoor. Both actors praised the Dhadak star for her talent and dedication on a movie set.
Gulshan Devaiah appreciated Janhvi's dedication and said, "She is extremely hard-working. I always respect people who are very hardworking. She's very professional. She is very prepared. Even during the rehearsal, she had good ideas about her character, and some of the suggestions she gave for my character were also I thought was pretty good. We incorporated that. She's extremely hardworking, not only as an actor but also in life. I am a lazy person, so I have tremendous respect for people like that."
Roshan Mathew was impressed with Janhvi Kapoor's approach to her character. The Darlings actor said, "She was great to work with. She has also got a very clear sense of understanding of the responsibility she is carrying in a film like Ulajh, especially. The complexities of the characters that've been written are not lost on her. But she also recognises the need to make every moment entertaining for the audience."
Further, Gulshan Devaiah revealed that he agreed to do Ulajh as he was interested in the part that was offered to him. The Guns & Gulaabs star was impressed by the storyline and Sudhanshu Saria's intentions for the film. Roshan Mathew got interested in the movie when he was offered a character he hadn't played before. The Choked actor added how the director put together an interesting cast, which encouraged him more to be a part of it.
Ulajh will release in theatres on August 2, 2024.
