TOKYO, Dec. 31 (Xinhua) -- Japan's Mizuho Bank said Tuesday that its systems have encountered connection disruptions since around 7 a.m. local time, affecting internet transactions for individuals and corporations, local media reported.
The financial institution suggested that it may have experienced a distributed denial-of-service, or DDoS attack, in which networks are overwhelmed by data from multiple sources
