World No. 1 Iga Swiatek of Poland has endured disappointments in recent Grand Slam events, but cruised to a straight-sets victory on Saturday to reach the fourth round of the U.S. Open in New York.
Swiatek, who was upset in the first weekend at last year's U.S. Open, didn't face a break point enroute to a 6-4, 6-2 victory over No. 25 seed Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova of Russia.
