New York Mets infielder Ronny Mauricio is recovering from surgery to repair a torn right ACL.
Mauricio, 22, underwent the knee reconstruction Tuesday at New York's Hospital for Special Surgery and faces a recovery timeline of eight to 12 months.
He made his major league debut on Sept. 1 and hit .248 with two home runs, nine RBIs and seven stolen bases in 26 games for the Mets.
