A’s hope to end strong at the Coliseum
After a thrilling walk-off win last night against the Texas Rangers, the Oakland Athletics play their final night game at the Coliseum tonight at 6:40pm. Jacob Wilson’s first walk-off base hit of his major league career drove home Zack Gelof with the winning run, sending the 30,000+ diehard A’s fans who stayed till the end home with quite a memory.
Game two of the series will feature 26-year-old A’s lefty Brady Basso who enters the game with a 1-0 record and 2.33 ERA in 19.1 career innings facing off against fellow 26-year-old southpaw Cody Bradford for the Rangers. Bradford is 6-3 with a 3.59 ERA in thirteen games this season. This will mark his third start against the A’s in 2024.
