He added that due to the importance of this route, the project should be completed as soon as possible. In the evening, it became known that Pezeshkian will leave for Baku next week to participate in the UN Climate Change Summit (COP29). The UN Climate Change Conferences are a series of annual meetings devoted to climate change that have been held since 1995.
The purpose of these conferences is to review the progress made by the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in curbing climate change. The 29th session of this annual conference will be held from November 11 to 22 in Baku.
