The college football season is upon us, and fans across the country looking to celebrate with Bud Light at tailgates and parties are going to be able to support their team in an exciting new way.
Anheuser-Busch just announced a new lineup of limited-edition Bud Light cans, each featuring the colors and logos of 26 different college football teams. The new collection adds to Bud Light's growing list of 65 partner college teams and features the return of some fan-favorite team cans. The new campaign is done in partnership with comedian Shane Gillis, who stars in and co-wrote the advertising push.
"College football fans are some of the most passionate, dedicated fans out there and we are so proud to partner with teams across the country to make all of the special gameday moments even easier to enjoy," Bud Light's senior vice president of marketing Todd Allen said in a statement. "As a passionate college football fan himself, Shane was the perfect partner to connect to our college football audience with his distinct style of humor. And it doesn’t hurt that he loves a Bud Light or two on gameday.”
These 26 schools will be featured on the limited-edition cans, so stop by wherever Bud Light is sold near you and see if you can track down your favorite team.
