Sand, water, and that unchained feeling of summer. These aren’t the elements or emotions that usually jibe with a quality timepiece. G-Shock, however, may be the one exception here—having built its reputation on making tough yet stylish watches that are comfortable in any situation and can hold up to practically anything, including your next big beach day or week.
In celebration of summer, the Japanese watchmaker has dropped six eye-popping new timepieces built for the shore and wherever else summer sends you and your wrist: DW5600TL, DW5600TLS, GA2100TL, GA2100TLS, GA110TL, GA110TLS.
Each model is meant to evoke the light and vibes of sunny days and peaceful evenings spent by the sea. Three come in white, the other three in a deep blue. All feature a special vapor deposition treatment on the glass that offers a unique radiance specific to each watch face. Classic G-Shock specifications include a shock-resistant structure, 200M water resistance, and a countdown timer.

The DW5600 also features a 1/100-second stopwatch, multi-function alarm, and flash alert. The GA2100 offers a hand shift feature, 1/100-second stopwatch, world time (48 cities), and five daily alarms. The GA110 provides those last three features plus ISO 764-compliant magnetism resistance.
All of the watches come with bands made with bio-based resin, produced using renewable organic resources. Each has its own LED light style that's easy to read after the sun dips behind the water.
G-Shock watches are known for having reasonable price tags—especially considering their myriad features. The brand's latest six summer stunners are an especially good deal, priced between $110 and $150.
