The Armenian Investigative Committee has referred to court criminal cases with indictments against about 600 military servicemen as part of the investigation into the circumstances of the 44-day war in Nagorno-Karabakh in autumn 2020, the head of the agency Argishti Kyaramyan said./pp
From the very beginning we decided to separate the cases of career army officers and ordinary personnel. Cases related to officers were transferred to the Department for Investigation of Especially Important Cases and the Main Military Investigation Department. In fact, there are 7 directions of investigation, and we can record that there are results of investigation in all of them,’ he said at the hearings in Parliament./pp
Earlier, in an interview with Armenia's Public TV, Kyaramyan said that in addition to this, the completion of the investigation was being considered with regard to another 100 people.
