YEREVAN, October 8. /ARКА/. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin have reached an agreement whereby starting from January 1, 2025, the border troops of the National Security Service of Armenia will 'participate in the protection of Armenian state borders with Iran and Turkey,' Pashinyan's press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan reported./pp
Under the agreement, only Armenian border guards will serve at the checkpoint on the border with Iran, she specified./pp
