YEREVAN, September 5. /ARKA/. The Armenian government approved on Thursday a set of regulations governing the joint activities of the commissions responsible for the delimitation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border./pp
The new regulations outline procedures for organizing delimitation work, drafting relevant documents, and preparing a protocol detailing the border’s exact crossing points. The regulations also include the creation of a delimitation map and the formation of expert groups to aid in the process./pp
The approved provisions will supplement the legal framework needed to ensure the effective progress of delimitation efforts. They also address procedural issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan once a border agreement is signed./pp
