Since 2011 this is the 10th time Ameriabank has been honoured with this prestigious award. In addition to the main award, Ameriabank also received the Best Digital Bank and Best Bank for SMEs in 2024 awards.

These annual awards recognise banks' performance, digital solutions, strategic initiatives and other achievements in the financial industry in more than 100 countries, Ameriabank said in a press release.

The publication stresses that during 2023, Ameriabank demonstrated steady growth and stable development in its core banking areas, achieving a record net profit of AMD 46 billion (USD 119 million) and maintaining its position as Armenia's leading lender for the 10th consecutive year, with a lending market share of about 20%.nbsp; nbsp;

In the ‘Best Digital Bank in Armenia’ nomination, the jury noted the development of Ameriabank's digital channels and solutions, including a fully automated process of attracting new customers, impressive growth in the number of active users of the MyAmeria app and transaction volume, and the MyInvest online investment platform.

Euromoney's editors noted significant growth in the bank's use of digital channels. In particular, 98 per cent of transactions were carried out through remote and digital channels.

nbsp;In the ‘Best Bank for SMEs’ nomination, the jury noted Ameriabank's constant advantage in financing small and medium-sized enterprises. During the reporting period, the bank's total SME lending portfolio grew to AMD 224 billion (USD 577 million), up 33.4% year-on-year.

The online business platform, as well as the innovative mortgage and auto lending ecosystems based on advanced scoring systems, provide a fully digital experience for customers, which has led to significant growth and stability in the loan portfolio in each of these areas.
