New KAMAZ (Russia-made) rubbish trucks have already arrived in Yerevan, head of Yerevan Garbage Removal and Sanitary Cleaning Company Sasha Katvalyan said on Monday, without naming specific figures./pp 'In essence, the problem (of rubbish removal) has already been solved,’ Katvalyan said at a working meeting at Yerevan City Hall./pp
According to him, there are currently vacancies for drivers of rubbish trucks./pp 'And if we find them, the problem will be completely solved. Currently, 50 vehicles are engaged in rubbish collection in Yerevan, but some of them are under repair. They will be put into operation in the nearest future,’ Katvalyan emphasised./pp
Nevertheless, the city authorities can use from 37 to 38 rubbish trucks in each shift. The problem is the lack of drivers./pp
