YEREVAN, July 12. /ARKA/. Defense Ministers of Armenia and Georgia signed a cooperation plan for 2024, the press service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense reported on Friday.

The document was signed by Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and his Georgian counterpart Irakli Chikovani, who arrived in Yerevan for a working visit earlier on Friday.

Papikyan and Chikovani held a bilateral discussion, followed by an extended meeting of the delegations. Both sides spoke about the current level of cooperation and discussed issues related to Armenia-Georgia defense collaboration and regional security.

The parties also shared details of the ongoing reforms within the armed forces of both countries.
