Meghan Markle and Prince Harry welcomed their first baby into the world on May 6.
The Duke of Sussex announced the exciting news his son was born just before 5.30 am at their home in Frogmore Cottage.
The new parent said: ‘I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy baby boy.
‘I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. And as every father and parent would say, your baby is absolutely amazing.
‘How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension. But we’re both absolutely thrilled.
‘But this little thing is absolutely to-die-for so I’m absolutely over the moon. It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined.’
Although the couple have remained tight lipped over what they will name their first born, royal fans have been speculating over baby Sussex’s moniker.
While some think the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will name their child Spencer after Harry’s late mother, whose maiden name was Spencer, others believe he dropped a major hint when he gave his public announcement.
Harry shared the news while standing beside the stables in Windsor, and two horses could be seen in the background.
The two animals are named George and Sir John, which has sparked speculation they could be the title of their little bundle of joy.
However, as Harry’s nephew has already taken the name George, the pair are believed to name their baby John.
Only time will tell.
