Alabama softball slipped in the national polls following its second loss of the season. The Crimson Tide (29-2, 7-2 SEC) dropped one spot to No. 7 in the latest USA Softball poll, released Tuesday, March 24. Alabama also dropped to No. 6 in the NFCA Coaches Poll, D1 Softball rankings and Softball America poll. The SEC once again dominated the national rankings, with No. 1 Texas, No. 3 Oklahoma, No. 4 Tennessee, No. 5 Florida, No. 9 Arkansas, No. 11 Georgia, No. 14 Mississippi State, No. 15 Texas A&M, No. 20 LSU and No. 24 South Carolina also appearing in the USA Softball poll.
