MEDIAPOLIS -- The National Weather Service declared Wednesday a red-flag day for high risk of fire. The only thing on fire Wednesday night was the Mediapolis High School girls basketball team. The Bullettes scorched the nets for 15 3-pointers in the first half alone on their way to a 76-42 rout of Davis County in a Class 3A regional semifinal game on the Vernon "Bud" McLearn Court at Mediapolis High School.
