The University of Northern Colorado athletic department has a plan to install lights at the 8,533-seat Nottingham Stadium in Greeley in time for the start of the Bears’ football team season this fall. The $1.6 million project would be funded through private support and sponsorship revenue with no university money involved, according to a board of trustees meeting agenda released Friday. Athletic Director Darren Dunn and Chief Financial Officer Dale Pratt are scheduled to present the lights project to the trustees next week.
