Minister: No Azerbaijani or other companies can participate in TRIPP without Armenia`s consent
The MP, in particular, recalled that Carl Kress, Regional Director of the US Trade and Development Agency, recently held a meeting at the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry to discuss the "Trump route" and Azerbaijan's logistics capabilities. In this regard, the MP inquired about Azerbaijan's potential involvement in the TRIPP project in Armenia. In response, the Foreign Minister clarified that any decision could only be made with Yerevan's consent. He cited a passage from the Washington Statement regarding TRIPP, which states that decisions on fundamental issues will be made solely under Armenia's control. "Without Armenia's consent, neither the sale nor alienation of shares or stakes (in TRIPP) is possible. Armenia's sovereignty and jurisdiction are non-negotiable," the Armenian Foreign Minister added.
