Sunderland vs Liverpool team news: Benteke comes in for Origi as Klopp makes one change
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made one change to his side for the trip to Sunderland on Wednesday evening.
Christian Benteke comes in for the injured Divock Origi as Klopp opts against resting any players despite a congested Christmas fixture list.
The Reds beat then table-toppers Leicester City on Boxing Day and can go level on points with rivals Manchester United with victory over Sam Allardyce's struggling side.
"The English game is not faster than the German game," Klopp told German newspaper Bild ahead of Sunderland's trip to Anfield. "Perhaps there are a few more sprints. But there is a different style of football here, partially due to the weather.
"The wind can be quite extreme in England. We are not familiar with that in Germany and you have to keep things simple. Stoke City's first goal against Manchester United was a perfect example of the extreme winds. Players who are not from the UK have to get used to the winds."
Meanwhile, Allardyce makes four changes to his side as Fabio Borini is named in the XI to face his former team at the Stadium of Light.
