Chief minister Laxmikant Parsekar now hopes to expedite his two flagship projects, the electronic city at Tuem and the IT Park at Chimbel. He said work had slowed down since the transfer of principal secretary Parimal Rai, who held charge of the IT department. But, with Ameya Abhyankar now at the helm, the chief minister is confident that the process of setting up the two projects will gain momentum.
