Politico reported that the Bush campaign informed almost all of its staff in the Miami headquarters that they will head to the four early primary states amid a push to salvage a good showing in New Hampshire.
David Kochel, a senior strategist with the Bush campaign, told the Des Moines Register that the campaign will add 20 staffers in New Hampshire, doubling the size of the campaign's team in the crucial early primary state. The campaign will also continue with television ads in that state, according to the Register.
"This will give Jeb by far the largest paid ground operation in the first four states," Kochel said.
The campaign will add at least ten staffers each in Iowa, South Carolina, and Nevada, according to the Des Moines Register.
