Iranians launched a new wave of missiles in response to Israel’s bombing to military facilities in Tehran
The Iranian Armed Forces executed at dawn on Sunday (15) another sequence of projectile attacks against Israel, as confirmed the state broadcaster of the Persian country, continuing the intense military confrontation that has been extending for three consecutive days.
The official Irna news agency confirmed the beginning of “a new sequence of missiles” directed to the Israeli territory. Israeli’s defense forces issued guidance to the civilian population to seek shelters immediately after detecting the new shots from Iran.
“Sound alerts were called in several Israeli regions after the detection of Iranian missiles directed to the State of Israel,” the Army said in an official statement. AFP correspondents recorded the sound of sirens in the capital Jerusalem.
Netanyahu statements
Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu warned Iran on Sunday that the country will face “severe consequences” by the casualties registered in Israeli territory, where 13 people lost their lives at dawn due to attacks with Iranian missiles.
“Iran will face severe consequences for deliberate civilian homicide, including women and children,” Netanyahu said on a visit to the city of Bat Yam, located south of Tel Aviv and hit by bombing, according to a video message released by his advisory.
The Israeli Armed Forces conducted bombing against Iranian military and nuclear facilities, as well as fuel deposits in multiple cities on Sunday, characterizing the third day of an unprecedented confrontation between the two opposing regional powers.
This new Israeli offensive arises in response to Iranian bombings from the previous night, which resulted in at least 10 fatal victims on Israeli soil, according to official data.
