The 18th season of Bigg Boss is one edition of the reality show that is shamelessly skewed towards the laadlas and laadlis of the channel. That's not a rarity, one would say, but this is also the only season where the eponymous top two were declared at the beginning of the ordeal.
It's a tragedy, hence, that the two miserably failed at doing what the show is meant for -- being interesting enough to run the show. Vivian Dsena, in particular, managed to somehow disappoint not only his fans but also the BB pundits sitting on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Vivian had a safe journey throughout the show, with no major issues, sermons by the host or narratives set against him. On the contrary, his frenemy Karan Veer Mehra had a bumpy yet celebratory ride with several jokes centred on his personal life, ability in bed, backfooted approach in the initial weeks and his dark sense of humour that cannot be easily grasped by many people.
Vivian's other frenemy Avinash Mishra also had an eventful journey. From being tagged as the villain of the house to his redemption and transformation into an interesting and fun character, his trajectory is one of the highlights of the season.
Even Rajat Dalal for that matter brought along his occasional bursts of anger and vengeance to the mix of samikarans he made for the show. But Vivian was a lone warrior -- and not in the real sense, but how he had almost no issues while inside the house (well, apart from coffee, Karan, bucket, OCD and comforter).
With only two weeks remaining then, Vivian's close friend and co-star Kamya Punjabi was called on last weekend's episode to put some sense into him. And hers was not an easy lesson.
Kamya had the most honest things to tell Vivian -- and in front of the entire house. She said the same things Vivian's wife had repeatedly told him.
But... all this to no avail.
Vivian later looked like he was pissed with his friend calling him out. His fans (from the shows he has done on the channel) were doubly pissed and they kept commenting mean words on Kamya's social media posts.
And Kamya, from what we have seen of her, is not the one to take any accusation lightly. She, later in an interview, shared how she was invited to give her friend an honest advice on how to play the game.
In her words, the channel wants to give him the trophy and this might be a ploy to justify that move. "They might have thought he would change his game in the last two weeks," she said.
#BiggBoss script exposed ??
Channel ladla ko jitana chahta hai uski jeet ko justify karne ke liye kamya punjabi ko bheja tha ??
But kuchha bhi karlo ladla nahi jitne bala #KaranveerMehra is most deserving to win the show right now and he will win.

But will he be able to?
From what we have seen of Vivian before and after the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, he has still not understood the game Bigg Boss is. He is still picking unnecessary battles with Karan, still is not questioning Avinash enough for nominating him, and still is considering himself the laadla of the channel when the narrative has gone totally against him.
At this point, it would not be an understatement to say bringing Kamya Punjabi at such a crucial juncture of the show and calling Vivian out was a masterstroke -- because the two scenarios that may turn out after this move will both justify the motive.
If Vivian takes the advice and improves his game, the makers will justify giving him the trophy. And if he doesn't (which seems the most likely), they will justify not giving him the trophy.
Either ways, it's a win-win for the makers. They have tried their best to make their laadla win against the 'Janata ka laadla'. The onus is now on Vivian if he wants to take the hint.
