We have all been hearing a lot about Boney Kapoor and Naga Vamsi's debate. The video has been doing rounds where they are seen arguing with each other during a round table conference they had with a portal. Many prominent figures from Bollywood and Tollywood sat down for a round table conference where they spoke about the Bollywood, Telugu, Tamil and other entertainment industries. The Bollywood Vs South debate has been going on for a long time and many actors have expressed their opinion about the same. However, the conversation between Boney Kapoor and Naga Vamsi grabbed all the attention.
The conversation went towards which industry has more dominance and command to change the narrative. Naga Vamsi called out Bollywood for making films only for the Bandra to Juhu people. He shared that it was the Telugu directors who brought out the change in Bollywood. But, Boney Kapoor completely disagreed that Telugu taught Indian Cinema.
In conversation with Galatta, Boney Kapoor opened up about how people in Russia and Egypt talk about Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. He added that Telugu films and Tamil films have unique markets. He shared, "Telugu films have a unique market in the US, while Tamil films have a strong presence in Singapore and Malaysia. That's a significant chunk of the overseas business."
Naga Vamsi then said that they brought a change in Bollywood who were stuck making films on Bandra, Juhu people but films like RRR, Baahubali, Animal, Jawan, etc., these have kind of changed Bollywood's vision. Boney Kapoor then said that Telugu cinema has not taught them anything. Vamsi then added, "Not taught, sir. We just rediscovered Hindi cinema because of these mass, huge event films."

Boney Kapoor then spoke about Allu Arjun's interviews where he claimed to be a big fan of Amitabh Bachchan. He added that language is never a barrier as people enjoy a good film any way. Soon, Vamsi was called rude and disrespectful by some members of Hindi film industry.
He then took to X to keep his point forward. He took to X and wrote, "You don't need to teach us how to respect elders, we respect boney ji more than u guys do and there was no disrespect towards boney ji in that conversation it was a healthy discussion, me and boney ji had a nice laugh and hugged each other after the interview So please dont come to your conclusions with just what you saw."
Later, Hansal Mehta, Sanjay Gupta, Siddharth Anand criticised him for his disrespectful behaviour.
