Pushpa 2: The Rule is in the news thanks to its box office collection. However, the film has brought a major controversy for Allu Arjun and his team. On December 4, the premiere shows of Pushpa 2: The Rule took place. At Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad, a stampede took place as the actor paid a visit to watch the film. A woman died in the stampede. Her 8-year-old son had to be rushed to the hospital. Due to this, a case got filed against Allu Arjun and team. He was also arrested but was granted bail. The latest update on the case is that Allu Arjun and makers of Pushpa 2 have announced Rs 2 crore aide for victim's family.
Reports suggest that Allu Arjun and team are doing their best to help the victim's family in taking care of 8-year-old name Sri Tej. As he is recovering in hospital, Allu Arjun's family and team are keeping a constant check on his progress. Today, some videos showed Allu Arjun's father Allu Aravind visiting Sri Tej and family in hospital. After meeting the child, Allu Arvind spoke to the reports and shared that he is recovering well. He also shared that they have decided to give Rs 2 crore to Sri Tej's family. While Rs 1 crore will be paid by Allu Arjun, Rs 50 lakh will be paid by producers and Rs 50 lakh by the director. He also shared that the amount is being handed over to Dil Raju who is the chairman of Telangana Film Development Corporation.
Another video of Dil Raju shared by news agency ANI has him saying that a meeting has been held with Telangana Chief Minister to discuss the situation. The film personalities present in Hyderabad will be a part of this meeting.

Earlier, Allu Arjun had announced Rs 25 lakh aide to the victim's family. He also extended his heartfelt condolences and expressed grief over the death of the woman in stampede.
