Telugu actor Allu Arjun is surrounded by controversies and was recently issued notice to appear before police on Tuesday. The screening of Pushpa 2 which was released on December 4 caused a stampede-like situation after Allu Arjun along with his family and co-star Rashmika Mandanna surprised their fans. The picture shows Allu in an all-black outfit and leaving for questioning. His wife Sneha Reddy and their daughter were seen bidding him goodbye.

Fans reacted to his picture which is going viral on social media. One user said, 'Don't worry, Allu Arjun the support is stronger than ever!' another commented, 'No worry we fans with you always'. The actor asked to appear at 11 AM, Chikkadpally Police Inspector Raju Naik said. The notice came a day after police commissioner C V Anand released a video and the stampede was visible in the theatre.

A 35-year-old woman died during the stampede on December 4 and her eight-year-old son was hospitalised. The city police registered a case against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management under different sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Chikkadpally police. Allu Arjun and other 11 accused were arrested by the city police and he was released from prison on December 14.
