Kurtz had this to say on Trump’s first press conference since the election:
“Trump was having a ball. That’s why he kept going and going and going. And Joe Biden, you know, was reclusive and hated to do those things and didn’t do those things, by and large. And, you know, he took off weekends in Delaware or Camp David. And it just shows you that Trump can just dominate the news. I think he made news on maybe ten different topics which have been overshadowed by others. And Donald Trump had that unique ability to do that. And he also, of course, as I’m sure you’ve mentioned, unloaded a pretty tough attack on the press… It was a sense of deja vu. And there’s always been that sort of love hate relationship with the press.”
