Whether you’re a fan of or voted for him or not, any reasonable American knows that Donald J Trump- our president elect- is more than deserving of TIME Magazine’s “Person of the Year.”
Not only did he win the election, he won the popular vote and made historic gains across demographic groups.
He also mounted the greatest political comeback, perhaps of all time.
And I must say, it was quite delightful to see the folks at TIME Magazine eat a MAGA-sized serving of humble pie with this selection.
It wasn’t too long ago- September to be exact- that TIME put out a very different cover featuring Donald Trump.
It was in a golf cart struggling to get out of a sand trap with the headline “In Trouble.”
The cover was released shortly after his debate with VP Kamala Harris and before the media realized he would be the victor and do it with ease.
Donald J Trump is not only “person of the year” he is perhaps the most talked about and known human on planet earth.
Congratulations, Mr. President!
