Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's movie Pushpa 2: The Rule has been mired in controversy since the day of its release. While the hype around the film is crazy, the makers drew flak when a mishap took place at a theatre in Hyderabad. After Allu Arjun's visit to the theatre, a stampede-like situation occurred and a woman lost her life. Case got registered against the star, the theatre owners and more. Now, Pushpa 2 has ran in trouble with the Rajput community. As per latest updates, Rajput leader has issued threat to Pushpa 2 producer.
On X (formerly known a Twitter), Rajput leader Raj Shekhawat shared a video stating that the use of 'Shekhawat' in a negative way is Pushpa 2 is an insult to Kshatriyas. He also stated that the 'Shekhawat' community is presented in poor light and demanded that the makers remove the continuous use of the word from the film or get ready to face the consequences. He said, "Pushpa 2 movie has a negative role of 'Shekhawat,' again insult to Kshatriyas, Karni Sainiks be ready, the producer of the movie will be thrashed soon." Further adding in the video, "The makers of the movie should remove the continuous use of 'Shekhawat' word from the movie, or else, the Karni Sena will thrash them inside their house and will go to any limits as required." For the unaverse, Fahadh Faasil plays the role of SP Banwar Singh Shekhawat in Pushpa 2 and he is the antagonist in the film helmed by Sukumar.
While controversies continue to surround Pushpa 2, the film is doing fabulously well at the box office. As per the latest reports in entertainment news, Allu Arjun's film has managed to cross the mark of Rs 590 crore at the box office withing five days of its release. Reportedly, it made a massive collection of Rs 65.1 crore on its fifth day, i.e., first Monday. Pushpa 2 is registering historic numbers and even the Hindi dubbed version is performing incredibly well at the box office. In fact, it has already broken the records set by Jawan, Gadar 2 and more.
