‘Desh ke har kone se’, Amitabh Bachchan raves about love marriages and diversity in his family
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was seen talking about love marriages in his family in the recent Kaun Banega Crorepati 16 episode. Well, the conversation started when a contestant named Ashutosh Singh, a software developer from Vadodara, Gujarat revealed that his parents had not spoken to him due to his love marriage. The contestant told Amitabh Bachchan, 'I've not been talking to my parents for five years. I know they watch KBC regularly, so it was important for me to come here so I can talk to you about this and maybe they can listen to us'.

Amitabh Bachchan quickly responded by saying, 'I hope that after watching today's episode, your parents will talk to you again, and you can have the conversation you've been longing for.' Big B also spoke about love marriages in his family and tried to explain to the contestant's parents that love has no boundaries. He said, 'Hum hai Uttar Pradesh ke, par chale gaye Bengal. Hamare bhai saab jo hai woh Sindhi parivaar main pahunch gaye, hamari beti Punjabi parivaar mein aur bitwa, aap toh jaante hai Mangalore. Babuji bola kartein the pehle, "Desh ke har kone kone se byaah kar ke laaye hai sabko (I am from Uttar Pradesh but went to Bengal, my brother is married into a Sindhu family, my daughter is married into a Punjabi family and my son, you already know, Mangalore. My father used to say we have brought one daughter-in-law from every part of the country'.
Amitabh Bachchan's statement comes amid rumours of trouble in Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai's married life has been grabbing everyone's attention. The two arrived separately at the Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding earlier this year. Also, Aishwarya shared photos from daughter Aaradhya's birthday bash which did not feature any of the Bachchan family members including her father Abhishek. Neither Abhishek, nor Aishwarya have spoken about the same. But, the two were spotted attending a wedding together.
Meanwhile, Amitabh shared a post seemingly addressing speculations about hsi family's personal affairs and said, 'I rarely say much about family, because that is my domain and its privacy is maintained by me .. Speculations are speculations .. they are speculated untruths , without verifications .. Verifications are sought by the seekers to authenticate their business and commercials of the profession they be in .. I shall not challenge their desire to be in the profession of their choice .. and I shall appreciate their effort in serving society .. But untruths .. or selected question marked information can be a legal safeguard for them that inform .. but the seed of suspected belief is sown with this most used emblem .. the question mark ..?'.
