Animal movie that released in December 2023 was a massive box office hit. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the movie starred Ranbir Kapoor in a never seen before avatar. Rashmika Mandanna played the leading lady. But one man who managed to impress the most with his role was Bobby Deol. He played the character of Abrar, the antagonist and it turned out to be the best character he has played so far. Animal movie was more than special for Bobby Deol as the actor finally got his due as an actor. The actor managed to reinvent himself and fans loved his transformation. As Animal turns one, Bobby Deol shared pictures to celebrate his journey.
Bobby Deol on his Instagram account shared a series of pictures of Abrar from Animal that had gone viral on social media even during the film's release. In the caption, he penned a heart touching note saying that the film helped him get closer to his fans and it gave him much more than he could ask for. He further thanked the fans for all the love, blessings and opportunities that he received post the success of Animal. Fans also celebrated Animal and Abrar's one year journey by hailing 'Lord Bobby' for his role. One of the comments read, "1 Years Complete of History create of Indian Cinema Lord Bobby." One of the fans also commented, "Hope to see a standalone movie on Abrar Character....!"
Well, it is an interesting thought. Abrar's character though mute in the film appeared to be a character with many layers and a crazy backstory. Sandeep Reddy Vanga is now focused on the second instalment of the film. It is titled as Animal Park. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a dual role in the film. Abrar died in first instalment but it remains to be seen if he has any role to play in Animal Park or not.
