Inflation will still cost you an arm and a leg this Thanksgiving, but relief is on the way!

Thanksgiving will be expensive again this year but if there’s one thing we can all be grateful for this year, it’s that next year will surely be better!
The American Farm Bureau Federation survey of prices in all 50 states plus Puerto Rico suggests your Thanksgiving fixings will be a little less expensive this year compared to last, but still more expensive than when Donald Trump was in office.
The average cost of a meal for 10 people this Thanksgiving comes out to roughly $58 bucks, a 5 percent drop from 2023.
Dinner rolls ,cranberries, whipped cream and cubed stuffing actually went up in price this year while turkey, sweet potatoes, frozen peas, pumpkin pie mix, pie crusts and whole milk went down in price.
That’s good news but not great news given the average meal price is still 19% higher than 2019.
The best news is, with the election of Donald Trump, things are only looking up.
Hug your friends and family tight this year, there’s a lot to be grateful for!
