Vingroup has announced the establishment of the VinRobotics Research, Development, and Application Company. The company is set up with a charter capital of VND 1,000 billion to focus on research, development, and applications in automation, industrial robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI).
As approved by Vingroup’s Board of Directors, the ownership structure of VinRobotics is as follows:
Mr. Ngo Quoc Hung has been appointed as the CEO of the company.
VinRobotics aims to develop and integrate intelligent robotic products to enhance production efficiency and optimize processes across industries, services, and daily life. The company’s operations will include research and technology transfer in automation and robotics. It will develop solutions not only for businesses within Vingroup’s ecosystem but also for other sectors in Vietnam and the region.

VinRobotics will contribute to Vingroup’s high-tech industrial ecosystem, which is one of its three core pillars alongside Trade & Services and Social Enterprise. Other Vingroup initiatives in smart technologies include VinBigdata, VinAI, and VinBrain.
Mr. Ngo Quoc Hung stated that automation products and solutions developed by VinRobotics aim to deliver long-term value for Vietnam’s industrial and business community.
The establishment of VinRobotics aligns with the ongoing global development in industrial robotics and automation, particularly in the context of the Industry 4.0 revolution. The company will focus on leveraging advancements in artificial intelligence, IoT, and other advanced technologies to meet the growing demand for intelligent robotic systems in production and other sectors.
