His wife, Sheena Bajaj spoke to India Forums about his injury. She revealed that Rohit got injured. She shared, "The car boot was open, and he accidentally got hurt. It was quite severe."

She said that she was nearby and rushed to see what had happened. She gave him first aid to reduce bleeding from a deep cut near his eyebrow. Sheena further revealed that Rohit is fine now and he has returned to the sets for his shoot.
