Elections Correspondent for The Federalist Brianna Lyman joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how President-elect Trump’s resounding victory in this election demonstrated just how little voters care about the issues mainstream media has been obsessing over throughout the entire campaign.
“We mentioned the democracy issue. The second biggest issue, we were told, was going to be abortion. And what we found is that not only did abortion ballot initiatives fail in several states, but that a lot of women who they banked their electoral votes on actually decided, I’m going to vote for a Republican because I’m going to see through the lies and the fog and know that, you know, if I have a miscarriage, I will not be denied care. My birth control is not going to be taken away from me. They ran on lies. And what’s unfortunate is that Kamala Harris gets on stage to concede Wednesday and she says. everything will be okay. Most of your base doesn’t believe that because they bought your lies, hook, line and sinker. So now they’re left shaking in their boots while you carry on with your life because you know it’s a lie. Yeah, but they don’t believe that it was a lie. They believe that there was some truth to that.”
