YEREVAN, 6 November. /ARKA/. Armenia’s industrial output in January-September 2024 amounted to over 2.1 trillion drams (in current prices), increasing by 12.6% compared to the same period of 2023, according to the National Statistical Committee./pp
The industrial output in September alone totaled 245.6 billion drams, up 4.6% against September 2023 and 1.6% against August 2024./pp
The production in the mining industry and open-pit operation amounted to 353.5 billion drams (a 7.8% decrease compared to the same period of 2023), and the manufacturing industry upped to about 1.5 trillion drams (an 18.9% increase)./pp
Supply of electricity, gas, steam and purified air grew by 11.5% to about 252 billion drams, while water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling to 23.7 billion drams (up by 5.7%)./pp
The biggest share in the industrial output was provided by the manufacturing sector - 70.4%. The share of mining industry and open pit operation is 16.6%, that of electricity, gas, steam and purified air - 11.9%, and the share of water supply, sewerage, waste management and recycling - 1.1%.
