BollywoodLife spoke to the actress and we asked why she hasn't signed any Hindi movie after Mission Mangar and what kind of roles she's looking for in Hindi movies.
The Thiruchitrambalam star said, "I have always kept the same standard, whether it was in any language; I work in 4-5 different languages. In all the languages, it has been the same parameters for me. I think I do substantial films where I play substantial characters. If I get those kinds of characters, I would be more than happy to play it. I never look to play the lead or I have to do female-centric films. I don't look for those things. I think it has to make sense to me and has to be deserving of my presence. There should be enough in the characters for me to do it."
Further in this entertainment news, we asked Nithya Menen what certain things she looks for while saying yes to any character. The actress said, "One thing would be that I should see that I have some sort of role to play in the film that's important, something that drives the story. The story itself should be honest. Also the people who are making it, the directors and the writers, I would look for passion in them that they really want to say the story and they are excited about it themselves."
Meanwhile, in Thiruchitrambalan, Nithya stars alongside Dhanush, Raashii Khanna, and Priya Bhavani Shankar. Nithya and Dhanus have reunited for another movie titled Idli Kadai.
