ArmInfo.The head of the Tatoyan Foundation, Arman Tatoyan, spoke about Azerbaijan's crimes against Artsakh and the Azerbaijani mechanism for deporting the people of Artsakh at a meeting with leading German journalists.
As ArmInfo was informed by the press service of the Foundation, the crimes of the Azerbaijani side against the border population of Armenia (lack of drinking water, deprivation of land and houses, liquidation of cattle and pig farming, etc.) were also presented using the example of the village of Nerkin Khand in the Kapan community of the Syunik region. Tatoyan spoke about the state policy of racism and hostility carried out by Azerbaijan towards Armenia, and attempts to destroy the Armenian identity.
The human rights activist presented the catastrophic situation around the Shikahogh Nature Reserve, where the Azerbaijanis have already cut down thousands of trees and are building military roads. According to him, these actions of the Azerbaijani side are causing catastrophic environmental damage to Armenia.
Arman Tatoyan stressed the importance of cooperation with both Armenian and international journalists in terms of using this potential to inform the world about violations by Azerbaijan and prevent new ones, especially before COP29. Arman Tatoyan also answered questions of interest to journalists regarding Armenia's border issues, the latest Artsakh war and Azerbaijan's crimes.
