Anupamaa: Madalsa Sharma was 'genuinely hurt' by Rupali Ganguly's words, 'Don't talk behind my back'

Anupamaa TV serial is popular and how. The raising TRP numbers are a proof of it. After Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Rupali Ganguly received a second chance to succeed with this Rajan Shahi show. Stars like Sudhanshu Pandey, Gaurav Khanna and many more also became immensely famous due to Anupamaa. Madalsa Sharma played the role of Kavya in the TV serial. However, recently, Mithun Chakraborty's daughter-in-law quit the show. In the interviews, she revealed that she did not see her character having a scope to progress and thus, decided to quit. In recent time, she shocked all by calling Rupali Ganguly 'two-faced'.

Madalsa Sharma aka Kavya on Anupamaa in an interview was asked to describe co-stars in one word and when asked about Rupali Ganguly aka Anu, she called her 'two-faced'. That raised eyebrows. Now, in another interview, Madalsa Sharma opened up on instances when Rupali Ganguly's words 'genuinely hurt' her. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Madalsa Sharma stated that at times she felt hurt as she learnt about Rupali Ganguly talking behind her back. She added that he felt that things said were not in a polished way and when she got to know about it, she questioned 'why'. Madalsa added, "Firstly, I have nothing against you, we are actors we work together." She also added that she hadn't done anything wrong so wondered why someone would behave in a certain way. I mean I haven't done anything to you for you to behave this way with me. Or if I have done something wrong, then I will understand perhaps why someone is acting this way with me but when I haven't done anything. Then I was like, either you be this way in front of me as well that if you don't like me, say it to my face but don't talk behind my back," she was quoted saying. It is all over entertainment news.

The actress did clarified though that the things that were said behind her back were not derogatory but just something that can lead to miscommunication. Rupali and Madalsa then managed to clarify and resolve their conflicts and all was well!
