Triptii Dimri is currently busy with the release of her upcoming movie, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The actress has been grabbing a lot of headlines lately. One of the serious reasons the actress came to the limelight recently was for receiving backlash from people in Jaipur. Triptii was allegedly supposed to attend an event organised by the Women Entrepreneurs of FICCI FLO. However, the actress didn't show up, which angered the women who organised it.
There have been videos going viral on social media in which the angry women are slamming the Animal actress. These women have questioned Triptii Dimri's commitment and professionalism and also told people to 'boycott' her. One of the women in the video said, "Koi janta bhi nahi hai iska naam. Hum toh aaye the dekhne ki kon hai yeh. Abhi tak koi janta nahi hai and this is her life. She is not at all worth calling a celebrity."
Amid all the 'boycott Triptii Dimri' row due to the Jaipur event fiasco, the actress has broken her silence. Triptii's team has shared an official statement and denied the allegations that she promised to attend the event and was paid Rs 5 lakh for the same. As reported by DNA, the statement reads, "During the ongoing promotional campaign for her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Triptii Dimri fully honoured her professional obligations, attending all scheduled events and sessions related to the film."
Triptii Dimri's team further clarified that beyond the promotions for her upcoming movie, she didn't promise any participation for the event and didn't take any additional fees or payments. The day all this drama happened, Triptii was in Mumbai and walked the ramp with Kartik Aaryan as show-stoppers for Manish Malhotra's show.
On the work front, Triptii was last seen in the movie Bad News with Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk. Her next film, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, also features Rajkummar Rao in the lead role. It will hit theatres on October 11, 2024. Her third release of 2024 is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which also stars Kartik and Vidya Balan. The movie will hit theatres on November 1, 2024.
