Recently, the cast of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 2 visited a BSF camp at the Attari-Wagah border. At the retreat, Kapil Sharma and others interacted with the BSF jawans. The photos and videos have been a topic of discussion amongst fans who are looking forward to the show. While interacting with the jawans, Kapil said that he also tried to apply in the army.
Kapil Sharma shared the video from the BSF camp on his Instagram page. In the video, the comedian was asked what alternate career he would've chosen if not a comedian. To this, the Firangi actor replied that people would've definitely seen him in the BSF, army, or police force. Kapil revealed that he had tried to apply in the armed forces as he grew up watching people in uniform around him. His dad was also in the police force.
The Great Indian Kapil Show host further said, "Mein police quarters mein raha bhi hoon in Amritsar. So definitely mein armed forces mein hota agar comedian nahi hota." Further in this entertainment news, Kapil captioned the video, "Happy to be in my hometown and meeting our BSF jawans at the Attari border, #amritsar #punjab."

The first episode is all set to stream on Netflix on September 21, 2024, at 8 pm.
This year, Kapil Sharma also made a special appearance in the movie Crew. Directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan, the heist comedy starred Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Kriti Sanon. Kapil played Tabu's onscreen husband in it.
