Analysis: Sandy Berger's Death Also Kind of a Blessing

Sandy Berger, Bill Clinton's former foreign affairs and security advisor, was always willing to serve his boss by stealing classified documents about the failure to fight terrorism and shoving them in any part of his clothing where they might fit. In this position he boldly helped formulate its policy of not fighting terrorism by repeatedly passing up opportunities to get Bin Laden.

But he went on to a profitable career of serving George Soros.

Now he's dead. And probably stealing classified documents in heaven. Or more likely hell. But is Sandy Berger's death a blessing? Let's ask Sandy.

Back in 2000, Sandy Berger stopped by Tel Aviv U and gave a speech in which he described the Muslim terror attacks on Jews in which a 2-year-old girl was severely burned, as "both the curse and the blessing of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, for the tragedy that awaits in the event of inaction also constitutes the greatest incentive for immediate action."

Translated from soulless diplomatese that means, that Israel must make concessions to terrorists and the attacks are a blessing because the burned 2-year-old girls provide the Jewish State with "the greatest incentive for immediate action."

The ZOA, Bnai Brith and JINSA protested. Berger's resignation was demanded, but it predictably came to nothing. ADL hack Abe Foxman defended Berger.  Even after being caught stealing classified documents, Sandy Berger could still serve as a foreign policy advisor to Hillary Clinton.

Now Sandy Berger is being eulogized, but really isn't his death both a "curse and a blessing"? It's a curse because no there's no one to steal classified documents for the Clintons. But it's a blessing because no there's no one to steal classified documents for the Clintons... and suggest that firebombing 2-year-old Jewish girls is really a blessing in disguise.
