Bajaj Auto has introduced the Chetak Blue 3202 electric scooter in India, priced at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). This new variant of the Chetak lineup is priced ₹8,000 lower than the Urbane model while offering enhancements like improved battery performance, delivering a claimed range of up to 137 km on a single charge. Bookings for the Chetak Blue 3202 are now open with a token amount of ₹2,000.
The scooter will be available for purchase on Flipkart in the coming weeks and will be offered in four color options: Brooklyn Black, Cyber White, Indigo Metallic, and Matte Coarse Grey.
The Chetak Blue 3202 is equipped with a larger 3.2 kWh battery, matching the capacity of the Premium model. This upgrade, combined with the use of new battery cells, extends the scooter’s range from 126 km to 137 km, underscoring Bajaj’s commitment to advancing its electric scooter offerings. The scooter retains popular features like LED headlights with daytime running lights, and it integrates connectivity options through the Bajaj app, allowing for over-the-air updates. Additional features include an eco-riding mode to optimize range and optional upgrades through the TecPac package, which offers hill-hold assistance, roll-over detection, and extra riding modes.
In the competitive Indian market, the Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 will face rivals such as the Ather Rizta, Ola S1 Pro, and TVS iQube.
