The ceremony granting diplomas to the French University in Armenia (UFAR) graduates took place under the patronage of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank. As the bank's press-service informed ArmInfo, the ceremony was held in concert hall named after Arno Babajanyan.
"You will face a lot of challenges on your way to success, which you will be able to overcome due to the knowledge and skills you have received in one of the best education institutions of the country. Be consistent in any initiative and try to do everything possible to become the best in your profession", CEO of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank Hakob Andreasyan said congratulating the graduates.
ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank is the University's many-year partner, who takes an active part in personnel training programs in Armenia and offers students regular internship opportunities, with the best ones given jobs in the bank. ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank has played a big role in the history of UFAR. Particularly, it has sponsored the opening of its Banking and Insurance Department.
Invited to the ceremony are Ambassador of France to Armenia Jean-Francois Charpentier, representatives of power, ambassadors, officials, students and parents.
To note, UFAR is an interstate university established by the Armenian and French governments. The University graduates bachelors and masters and grants them Armenian state and Jean Moulin - Lyon 3 University diplomas. As of today UFAR has over 1,500 graduates, of whom 70% have found jobs in Armenia and only 6-7% have gone abroad.
To note, "ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK" CJSC has been operating in Armenia since 1995. Since September 2006, the majority shareholders of the Bank are Credit Agricole S.A.
