Vigilance case against Amitabh Thakur transferred to EOW
Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court on Monday transfered the investigations into the disproportionate assets case lodged against suspended IPS officer Amitabh Thakur to the Economics Offences Wing (EOW). The case was till now being probed by the Vigilance department. The High Court order came on a petition filed by Thakur seeking transfer of the case to any agency other than the Vigilance Department.
