At least tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors who came across the border illegally are..wait for it..unaccounted for.
I’m Tomi Lahren, more next.
According to the DHS Inspector General, many of the 448,000 unaccompanied minors released into Health and Human Services and
Homeland Security custody from 2019 to 2023 are reportedly unaccounted for.
Meaning they are roaming our country somewhere with someone and the federal government doesn’t really know where or with whom.
The report also notes ICE has no assurance these unaccompanied minors are safe from trafficking, exploitation or forced labor.
Also important to note these unaccompanied minor illegal aliens are unaccounted for because 32,000 failed to show up for their scheduled immigration court hearings and
291,000 more were not even given hearings yet.
It may not be their fault, though, because at least a percentage of them are probably stuck in trafficking rings outside of their control.
And this is exactly what happens when you open the border and turn the other cheek, millions come in and disappear into the shadows.
