With over 11,500 units sold year-to-date and a total of 22,783 units sold over the past 12 months, the Virtus not only dominates the market but also showcases its strong positioning and resilience. This impressive performance contrasts sharply with its competitors, facing significant declines.

Hyundai Verna: Struggling to Maintain Momentum

The Hyundai Verna, once a formidable contender in the sedan market, is now grappling with significant challenges. The model’s sales have dropped markedly over the past year. In July 2024, Hyundai sold 1,420 units of the Verna, a dramatic decrease from the 2,858 units sold in July 2023. The year-to-date (YTD) sales for the Verna stand at 11,364 units as of July 2024, reflecting a broader 50% decline year-over-year. This decrease highlights broader difficulties within the sedan segment and Hyundai’s struggle to retain its market share.

Skoda Slavia: Facing Steep Declines
