Former Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee and nominee for the Senator of Michigan Mike Rogers joined Brian Kilmeade to share his immediate reaction to Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris’ running-mate pick of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, “This guy is so out of touch… murders under him up 73%, car thefts up 55%, burglaries up in the high 60’s.” Rogers and Kilmeade agree that this is a gift for the GOP with the belief that this is the most Liberal presidential ticket in history. Walz believes strongly that a reason Harris did not go with Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro is because of his pro-Israel stance, which plays a huge role in Minnesota’s vast Muslim population when it comes to the polls.
Mike Rogers targets Walz’s take on equity and inclusion following the BLM riots in 2020, saying that the Democrats are trying to redefine what that means and how it is straying away from America’s merit based system.
Walz shared a story about a woman he met who has worked in a factory for nine years and had to push back her wedding because the catering company couldn’t afford to make food due to high food prices and “that is what the democrats have been giving people who actually get up and go to work everyday.”
