"Russia, which saved Armenia and the Armenians from dissolving in the Persian world, Russia, which essentially raised and created the Armenian statehood, which literally did not exist since ancient times, Russia the liberator is the occupier of Armenia, this is what they write in the new Armenian history textbooks. That's how things are," Primakov complained.

Photos from the page of the 8th grade textbook on the History of Armenia, where the chapter dedicated to the Russian-Persian War is titled "Russian occupation of Eastern Armenia", have spread across the network.
